For its new summer 2016 collection, Sema Design wanted to open its horizons, mix graphic patterns and exotic prints, invite the charm of the East and Scandinavian design. A tableware with different colorful and trendy universes, to choose according to your tastes for an inspired breakfast or dinner. The editorial presents its favorites in pictures!
Head for the Orient
For summer 2016, Sema is thinking big and far! The brand, which defines itself as "finder and creator of objects" since 1968, offers this year a collection inspired by travel. We start with the Orient with this set called "Parfum d'Orient". Dishes, of course, including plates, bowls with chopsticks and rice spoons, but also black and white lamps in the Buddha spirit.
Made in Japan
Little stop in Japan with this series inspired by Japanese stationery, a nice mix of blue and white for a simple and refined effect.
Big trend of the moment, the flamingos that we find a lot on textiles. Sema Design has dedicated a whole line of tableware to them in soft colors. We love the cups that play the roundness for a trendy tea-time. Placemats, ceramic teapot, cups for lunch, XXL mugs, the "Pop culture" collection also includes ultra-colored lamps and suspensions. We say yes!
The summer 2016 collection has other surprises in store, such as pretty retro country-style trays, a marble line marked by "urban elegance" with references to the Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower, or even bedside tables at Scandinavian look. More info on the site www.semadesign-
